Greetings, Families and Students,

Hope your summer is going well! We have some important information regarding enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. Submitting applications early is strongly encouraged; please ensure all required documents are included so your application can be processed without delay.

• Applications will be available June 22, 2026. This opens the enrollment period. Applications can be mailed to you. To get on the mailing list, you can call the program at 605-856-4486. You are also welcome to stop by and pick one up Monday-Thursday 8 am-4 pm.

• We accept students in grades 2nd - 12th from Todd County High School, Todd County Middle School, Todd County Elementary, St. Francis Indian School, and Wakanyeja Tokeyahci Lakota Immersion School.

For NEW STUDENT applications, the following must be attached in order to be complete:

• ABSTRACT (Degree of Indian Blood)

• IMMUNIZATION RECORDS

• BIRTH CERTIFICATE

• SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

• MEDICAID CARE (Copy)

• PHYSICAL (If applicable for school sports)

• I.E.P (If applicable)

• ENROLLMENT to County School District

• ENROLLMENT to St. Francis Indian School

• ENROLLMENT to Wakanyeja Tokeyahci Lakota Immersion School

• SOCIAL SUMMARY (If applicable)

• POOL LIABILITY WAIVER

For RETURNING STUDENT applications, the following must be attached: (Returning student status is based on whether the student has attended the program during the previous school year)

• UPDATED IMMUNIZATION RECORDS (If the returning student has received immunizations during the summer break)
